In August we (Re-Instate Bonnybridge Railway Station) undertook a large public consultation. This aimed to find the opinions of the local people on not only the need for a new station but also current transportation links in the town. We worked alongside the Scottish Community Development Centre, who oversaw that the report and gathering of data was being done in a neutral way.
We are now delighted to announce the official launch of our findings.
The launch will be held on the 31st of January at 7pm in Bonnybridge Community Centre. With local elected officials and council officers in attendance.
Co-Founder of Re-Instate Bonnybridge Railway Station, Bryan Deakin says “This report has been over a year in the making, and it is amazing to see the results after a lot of work from our volunteers to not only gather the information, but also to work in getting it to a stage we could present it. The report says a lot of what we expected and we hope it will be beneficial to supporting and informing the Pre-Appraisal for a station in Bonnybridge”
